An aspirant for the Kano Central Senatorial District under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulkareem Abdussalam Zaura, popularly known as AA Zaura, has declared that the party is prepared to secure victory in Kano State.
Zaura made the remark on Sunday while receiving supporters backing his senatorial ambition, expressing confidence in the party’s strength and readiness for the next election.
“In Kano, we are battle-ready and we have a very strong team at the helm of party affairs. We shall come back here just like we are here now to celebrate APC success from top to bottom,” he said.
He added that the party remains the most influential political platform in the country, describing it as well-positioned to win elections.
“We are here today to say we are ready for a contest under the most powerful and most influential party in the country… God willing, we have all it takes to make a difference and we shall succeed,” he stated.
Also speaking, the APC state chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa, commended the calibre of individuals supporting the aspirant, describing them as credible grassroots politicians.
“The calibre of people I see in this entourage are exceptional—people that are trustworthy and reliable in grassroots politics,” he said.
Doguwa assured party members of the APC’s prospects in the state, expressing optimism about victory in future elections.
“We will ensure that we do the needful. For someone who has quality and integrity must not be left out,” he added.
He further urged party members to remain united, maintaining that the APC remains best positioned to win elections in the state.
