The All Progressives Congress, APC, has suspended one of its members over alleged participation in a rally organised by the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Karu.
The suspension followed allegations that the member attended the opposition party’s political gathering despite being a member of the APC.

The APC leadership reportedly viewed the alleged participation as a violation of the party’s rules and regulations.
The party warned its members against taking part in activities organised by rival political parties without proper authorisation.
It urged members to remain committed to the APC and comply with the party’s directives as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The development highlights the growing efforts by political parties to enforce discipline among their members amid increasing political realignments ahead of the next general election.
