APC Using Resources Meant For States’ Development To Sponsor Media Attacks Against Jonathan, Others – Onuesoke

APC-Odigie-OyegunA governorship aspirant in Delta State during the 2007 general elections, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, has condemned the All Progressives Congress (APC) for using the media to launch attacks on President Goodluck Jonathan and other notable chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Onuesoke, in a statement yesterday, alleged that the main opposition party had been using resources meant for the development of states controlled by it to castigate, discredit and ridicule Mr. Jonathan and PDP officials.

He argued that instead of making its viewpoints devoid of negative activities, the APC had resorted to diversionary tactics of propaganda, blackmail and falsehood by using consultants to attack and insult individuals including the person of President Goodluck Jonathan.

“This wave of attacks is clearly part of APC’s method  of destruction and inciting the people against individuals, especially government officials, in furtherance of the plot to undermine the system and balkanise the nation along ethnic and religious lines ahead of the 2015 general elections,  an agenda which has already failed”, Onuesoke said.
