One of the most anticipated launches of the year is that of the Apple iPhone 13 smartphone and everyone concerned is looking forward to the mega event.

Due to the iconic nature of the company and its ability to bring gadgets that are eye-ball grabbing; there is a perennial interest in its announcements, especially new smartphones.
Now, we finally have a date when the iPhone 12 successor is revealed to the world.
Coming to the features, the report says that the iPhone 13 will be powered by its A15 chipset that will be built using TSMC 5nm process.
This processor .is expected to be 30% more efficient; and at least 20% smarter in terms of performance compared to Apple’s A14 system-on-chip.
For reference, the A14 Bionic chipset powers Apple’s iPhone 12 series smartphones.
Apart from this, the report says that the Pro models in the iPhone 13 series, that is, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max will come with Samsung’s LTPO screens that will enable the ‘Pro’ variants of the iPhone 13 series to have 120Hz refresh rate.
This will be the first time that Apple iPhones will come with screens; with a screen refresh rate of more than 60Hz. It will also make them ideal for playing games.
Another defining feature that the iPhone 13 series is expected to come with is support for a fingerprint sensor.
This fingerprint sensor will co-exist with the existing Face ID.
It will not only provide enhanced biometric security; but it will also make it easier for users to unlock their iPhones while wearing a face mask.
This is in line with an older report by Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo; wherein he said that the 2021 iPhones will feature support for fingerprint sensors.
Lastly, the price. TrendForce report says that the iPhone 13 series will not come with a 1TB variant, which means that 256GB is the maximum storage space that iPhone users will get.
Additionally, the iPhone 13 will come at a price that is similar to the iPhone 12 series, which means that the iPhone 13 series will come at a starting price of $699 for the base variant of the iPhone 13 Mini and go all the way to $1099 for the top variant of the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
