    Arsenal Made £80M Bid For Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

    Aubameyang’s profile after the 2015/2016 season when he scored 39 goals for Dortmund.

    All through the transfer window, the Gabon international was linked with big money transfers to move all some of the biggest clubs in Europe but remain at Dortmund.

    It has now been revealed that a huge £80 million offer from Arsenal was turned down by Dortmund.

    Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito revealed that he made enquiries for the forward on behalf Serie A side, Napoli who were looking to spend most of the money they received from the £76 million sale of Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus.

    “Sometime ago, I called Michael Zorc, Dortmund’s director of football, to talk about Aubameyang [on behalf of Napoli],” the agent told Italian station Radio CRC.

    “But the ‘no’ was absolutely categorical.

    “I know that this summer, Arsenal offered €90m (£80m) for Aubameyang, but Borussia didn’t want to hear anything about it.”

    Aubameyang has 14 goals so far this season for Dortmund.
