Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has come out to admit that the club dropped its standards in Wednesday’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, credit to Crystal Palace for performing above expectation, but his players clearly struggled to find consistency in the game by giving the ball away carelessly.

Trossard added that the quality was definitely lacking vs Palace compared to the last game, but he and his teammates will surely raise the level against PSG in the UCL.
His words, “We dropped our standards today and credit to Crystal Palace.
We struggled to find consistency in the game. We gave the ball away in simple ways and we were late in everything we did. I am disappointed.”
Trossard added, “The quality today wasn’t there compared to our last game [a 4-0 win at Ipswich Town].
We were nowhere near that and we got punished. We need to raise the level with our big game coming up. It will be good to have six days now and prepare for this [PSG] game with 100% focus.
It will be a different performance.”
