Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has decided where he wants to go — and it’s Chelsea, according to the Telegraph.
Sanchez is out of contract at the Emirates Stadium next summer, with Arsene Wenger having said that talks about a new deal are on hold until the end of the season.
Speculation is growing that the Chile international could be off this summer, and the Telegraph said he “has put Chelsea at the top of his list.”
However, Sanchez will “face a battle with Arsenal” to make that happen because they are not keen to sell him to a Premier League rival.
The report said, “Arsenal would rather let Sanchez enter the final 12 months of his contract than see him join Chelsea — which may leave him having to try to force his way to West London.”
Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the 28-year-old, and reports in France said the Ligue 1 champions have begun talks with his agent.
RMC Sports claimed that further discussions will take place later this month in Paris.
