Mujaheed-Dokubo-AsariNiger Delta ex-militant, Mujahid Asari Dokubo has lost his first wife, Alhaja Zainab Asari Dokubo, to an auto crash on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.

According to a report by Vangaurd Newspaper, Zainab died alongside a friend in a motor accident on her way to Ibadan.

The sad occurrence was confirmed by the Chairman Oyo state Muslim community, Alhaji Ishaq Kunle Sanni.

“Even then, there was hardly any month she was not in Ibadan for one Islamic programme or the other. She was a member of many Islamic organisations in Ibadan including Oluyole Muslim community under the Imamship of Imam Mudashir Bada,” Sanni recounted.

Continuing, he said, “It is interesting she was coming to her preferred town Ibadan when she met her destiny. She was survived by four children Amirah, Hassan, Hussain and Osama. “May Allah accept her multifarious and multidimensional jihad as acts Ibadah and admit her to jannat Firdaous.”

Zainab, who lived in Ibadan even after her marriage to the ex-militant, had to relocate to Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa after her appointment as the Secretary of the Muslims Pilgrims Board.
