Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on Tuesday, February 14, paid a visit to former Head of State, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) in Niger State.
The meeting between the two is holding at Babangida’s Hilltop residence in Minna, the state capital.
Atiku and Babangida are reportedly holding talks but the subject of their discussions is not yet known.
The former Vice President, in August 2016, said that Babangida deserves to be praised for his contributions to the development of Nigeria.
“The virtues of forgiveness and the magnanimous spirit of the former president is one of the magnetic and endearing features of his character,” Atiku said of Babangida at the time.
“It is impossible to encounter IBB without being moved by his humility towards people, regardless of their social status in life. His detribalized nature and passion about Nigeria’s oneness are virtues worthy of emulation,” Atiku added.
Atiku also prayed that God would grant IBB many more years in good health so that the country could continue to drink from his fountain of wisdom.
