The Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has taken back its threat to stop the conduct of the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State. Kanu agreed to make peace at a meeting organised by the Ala-Igbo International Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, held in Owerri, Imo State. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has advised political parties to abide by electoral guidelines and party principles in the manner of conduct of their primaries for the Anambra Governorship election scheduled for Nov. 28, 2017.
