The Edo Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says it has destroyed 12 illegal refineries in the state within the first quarter of 2017. The Commandant of the Corps, Mr Makinde Ayinla, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Benin on Wednesday. The Osun State government has explained how its share of the Paris Club refund, received a month ago from the federal coffers, was dispensed. The refunds were part of over-deductions from State allocations to offset loans from the Paris-London club.
