The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has decried extortion of money from rural women in the ongoing free distribution of application forms for women empowerment. Human rights lawyer, Mr Femi Falana (SAN), has called on the Economic Financial Commission (EFCC) to investigate the Deposit Money Banks. Speaking at a dinner at the University of Ibadan, Falana said he will apply for an order of Mandamus to compel the EFCC to probe and prosecute the banks over loans they were allegedly granted by former governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
