Instagram has rolled out a new security feature for those users whose accounts have been hacked. Called ‘Security Checkup’, this new feature adds an extra layer of protection to accounts that have been previously compromised. The feature is going to check login activity; review profile information, confirm the accounts that share login information, and also update account recovery contact information like phone number, and/or email address. Twitter is removing its disappearing posts feature – Fleets – after less than a year on the platform because of low usage. Gunmen have abducted the wife of the former chairman of Kaugama Local Government Area, Alhaji Ahmed Yahaya Marke. The gunmen numbering about 10 were said to have stormed the residence of the former local council in Marke town, Jigawa around 1:00 am on Wednesday. The victim identified as Hajiya Fatima is the first wife of the former LGA chairman. The abducted provost of College of Agriculture and Animal Science Bakura, Mr Habibu Mainasara, has regained his freedom. Mr Mainasara’s elder brother, Nasiru Mainasara, said that he was freed on Wednesday night, three days after bandits abducted him from his official residence in the institution. Three persons have been killed after armed robbers attacked a branch of an old generation bank this afternoon in Ilaramokin, in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State. Spokesperson to the Ondo State police command, DSP Tee-Leo Ikoro confirmed the incident. He disclosed that three persons, including a police officer, were shot and killed in the attack.
