Ebonyi State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Senator Emmanuel Onwe, disclosed on Thursday that the state government has released N1.5 billion to settle arrears of workers’ pension and gratuities accruing from October 2, 2016 to June 6, 2017. It has been revealed that estimated total amount of bribes paid to Public Officials in Nigeria in 12 Months prior to the survey was around 400 billion Naira the equivalent of $4.6 billion in purchasing power parity (PPP).
