In a bid to safeguard health of Nigerians, the National Agency For Food and Drug Administration and Control, the bagency ensures that all regulated products by NAFDAC, have expected quality. The Agency has therefore developed a 5-year traceability plan towards achieving supply chain visibility. According to NAFDAC, it has partnered with pre-shipment agent in China and India to eliminate substandard medicines in Nigeria. Chevron alongside other oil and gas producing companies has today announced progress in reducing upstream carbon emission and have set a target for the collective upstream carbon level in order to reduce the effect of carbon emission on climate. The Oil and Gas Climate Initiative also noted that they reached beyond the set target of upstream methane intensity of 0.25% and tends to lower methane level to 0.20% by 2025. The International Monetary Fund has today given an outlook of ‘World Economic Growth Projections’. IMF identified that growth in advanced economies as at 2019 is 1.7%, while in 2020 it is at -5.8% and will probably be at 3.9% in 2021.
