The immediate past Petroleum Minister of Nigeria, Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke, who was arrested for for bribery and corruption charges in London, UK on Friday, has been granted bail. According to Channels TV, she was granted bail by a magistrate court in London after she had been detained for several hours. The London Police also confirmed that she is being prosecuted for money laundering. Nigeria’s ex-minister of petroleum resources has been arrested in London, United Kingdom according to reports. It is believed Diezani Alison-Madueke was apprehended at the UK National Crime Agency on Friday 2 October.
