The Director of Defence Information in Nigeria, Chris Olukolade (Major General) has said that the Nigerian Defence Ministry is involved in the evacuation and rapid repatriation of Nigerians trapped in the crisis-ridden Central African Republic. The Minister of Power, Chinedu Nebo has assured Nigerians that effort is being made to normalize electricity supply to parts of the country where shortage has been experienced lately. The Nigerian Government through the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has evacuated 1,277 Nigerians who were stranded in the raging Central African Republic crisis to home safety.
