Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has disclosed that the Monkey Pox virus will never come close to the state because Imo State is in the hands of God. This was released in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo where he debunked claims that the virus was in the state. Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has ordered the state’s accountant-general to promptly pay public service workers their monthly salaries on the 23rd of each month in an effort to further boost morale and commitment to implement his 4-point governance agenda. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has flagged off the execution of 136 school building projects across the state. The projects include four new Model Schools, spread across the state, with each comprising of ten classroom blocks, Library, Laboratory, Teachers quarters, Sick bay, 5 secondary and 3 primary classroom blocks, Solar powered water borehole, perimeter fence and Headmaster quarters. Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has commissioned a key electrification project at Abia State University (ABSU) Uturu that enabled the institution to be connected to the national power grid. The project was a great relief to the 36 year old institution that has been running on power generators since it was established in 1981.
