The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has named Bello Mutawalle of PDP the governor-elect of Zamfara State. INEC chairman, Mahmoud Yakubu, revealed this on Saturday. Mr Mutawalle was the runner up in the March governorship election in the state, behind the candidate of the All Progressives Congress. But on Friday, The Supreme Court cancelled the APC’s victory, saying because the party did not conduct proper primaries.
