INEC has revealed that the commission will adhere to the court order that said the the Adamawa supplementary governorship election should be suspended. The High Court in Adamawa recently commanded the indefinite postponement of the governorship election in the state. The judge, Abdul-azeez Waziri, said the elections should be put on hold until he rules on an application for an interlocutory injunction stopping INEC from conducting the polls.
