The House of Representatives, on Thursday, voted against the Bill for an Act to Establish the Nigerian Peace Corps. The President had given two reasons for rejecting the proposed organisation. It would appear that Atletico Madrid are preparing themselves for life without Antoine Griezmann after the club left the French forward out of the promotional imagery for their new home kit. Griezmann is widely reported to be joining Barcelona over the summer after spending four successful seasons playing under Diego Simeone. As such, Atletico chose to use Saul Niguez, Diego Costa and Lucas Hernandez to help promote the launch of their 2018-19 strip. Of course, kit launches are never an entirely foolproof method of diving such things, but the fact that the Rojiblancos have left their biggest star out altogether…

Cristiano Ronaldo has shrugged off new reports of Real Madrid’s interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar, saying the club are linked to “50 players” each year but their all-star attack remains the same. “I don’t know — I am not in charge of these things,” he said. “I’ve been here eight years and they always talk about 50 players, and in the end nobody comes. “But those who reach the finals, who win things, are always the same. The best players are here at Real Madrid — [Gareth] Bale, Karim [Benzema], [Marco] Asensio … they are all here.” Earlier this year,…
