Kevin Campbell has backed new head coach Unai Emery to sort out the Gunners’ long-standing leadership issues with the help of a more organised structure — even though he doesn’t see any Tony Adams-type figures in the current squad. He said Emery’s more disciplined approach will naturally create more vocal leaders on the pitch. “I think you look at leadership in two different ways. Everyone talks about the leaders like Tony Adams and Patrick Vieira, but those players are not easily available,” Campbell said. “I think the second way you can get leadership is through organisation. When different parts of…

So it was a difficult situation,” he said. “Obviously, me and the manager had a conversation and he’s the one that made decision. “But at the end of the day we had a…

Toure, who is searching for a new club following his release by City, says Pep Guardiola’s side should watch out for the advances of the chasing pack. “Mourinho…

The wideman survived Rohr’s Wednesday morning cull, where four players, Stephen Eze, Uche Agbo, Dele Ajiboye and Junior Lokosa were cut. He’s travelled to London with the national side on Wednesday ahead of their friendly against England on Saturday, and will also face a last-minute assessment on his injury.
