The House of Representatives on Thursday in Abuja adopted the report of its Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) which probed the alleged irregularities surrounding the 18.72billion dollar Centenary City project. The report was submitted on March 2 by the Chairman of the Committee, Rep. Herman Hembe (Benue-APC). In the report, the committee called for prosecution of former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim and Sen. Bala Mohammed, the former Minister of FCT, over their role in the project. Others are the Directors of Centenary City Plc, Mr Paul Oki and Ms. Boma Ozobia.…

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Kano State, Musa Kwankwaso has said that former governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso is planning to rejoin the party. Kwankwaso left the PDP in 2014 to join current ruling party, APC. Musa Kwankwaso made the claim on Monday, March 13, while speaking to Daily Trust. “I heard from reliable sources that the former governor is planning to dump APC for another party before the 2019 general elections and most likely he is coming back to PDP,” he said.
