President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of a new management for the Nigeria Export-Import bank, NEXIM.
According to a tweet from the presidency, President Buhari approved the appointment of three new members of the bank’s management on Thursday, April 20, 2017.
The appointees are Abubakar Abba Bello, Dr. Bala Mohammed Bello and Stella Okotete.
According to the tweet by the Presidency, Abba Bello was appointed the Managing Director of NEXIM bank while Dr. Bala Mohammed Bello was appointed Executive Director, Corporate Services and Stella Okotete as the Executive Director, Business Development.
The appointment, according to the tweet by the Presidency, are with immediate effect.
The appointment is coming following the sack of the management of the Nigeria Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) by President Buhari in February 2016 over alleged corrupt practices.
