The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria on Sunday, raided the Hajj/Camp terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, seized and destroyed goods. News Agency of Nigeria reports that the special raid was supervised by the Chief Security Officer of the terminal, Mr. Uche Ukeni. He said a female suspect was arrested during the raid. Alhaji Abubakar Sarki-Dahiru of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the Nasarawa State re-run election for the Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency seat at the House of Representatives. Mr Uji Francis, the Returning Officer for Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), announced the results in Lafia on Sunday. Wife of the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Mrs. Tokunbo Awoniyi, on Saturday sustained injuries after their Ikoyi residence collapsed. The incident, which occurred at about 7am at 19b, HFB Way, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, was said to have been caused by a cooking gas explosion which made the building to cave in. Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members on Friday reportedly killed 12 persons near Gwoza, in Borno State.
