The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) will from today, Tuesday, start trucking out Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as petrol from the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) following the restart of production at the facility over the weekend. The refinery is expected to inject an additional 1.5 million liters of fuel to the domestic market, which translates to about 50 trucks daily. The National Electricity Regulation Commission (NERC) yesterday unveiled a new increment of average of N9.00 electricity tariff for all classes of electricity consumers, which will become effective from the next billing period. The regulatory body also announced the abolition of the contentious fixed charges for all electricity consumers.
