A suicide bomber who rammed into a military check point in Bajoga, Gombe State on Tuesday failed to achieve his mission as he was killed by troops in Gombe, according to the Defence Headquarters (DHQ). A statement issued by the Director of Defence Information, Maj.-Gen. Chris Olukolade in Abuja on Wednesday, said that the suicide bomber was shot down by soldiers when he tried to flee after hitting a military Amoured Personnel Carrier with his IED laden Honda car, which failed to detonate.
