Thirty-nine Boko Haram fighters have been killed in clashes with Cameroonian troops, according to the defence ministry. Four civilians were also killed in Friday’s fighting in the far north of Cameroon near Nigeria, AFP reports. A 51-year-old mother of four children has been nabbed by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, in Lagos State with 3.44kg of cocaine and heroin hidden inside body cream.
