Some lawyers in Abuja have described as illegal, the plan by the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) to begin enforcement of the new drivers’ licence and number plates on 1 August. A suspected crossborder raid overnight by Nigeria’s radical Islamic group Boko Haram killed two Cameroonian soldiers, a Cameroonian security official said Friday on condition of anonymity.
