The Jigawa State Executive Council has approved an award of contract of over N199 million for the provision of temporary power supply to Dutse International Airport. The state Commissioner for Information, Sports and Culture, Alhaji Babandi Ibrahim, stated this yesterday while briefing newsmen shortly after the council’s meeting at Government House, Dutse. An Ilorin High Court presided over by Justice S.T Umar, yesterday sentenced four men to death by hanging for criminal conspiracy and armed robbery. Immediately after the judgment was delivered, the convicts; Ibrahim Olayiwola, AbdulWaheed Aliyu, Tunde Kareem and Omotayo Isah, broke down in tears.
