The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has disclosed that it has so far captured the data of about three million Nigerians who enrolled for the National Identification Number (NIN). The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has intercepted 244 vessels allegedly involved in illegal activities on Nigeria’s territorial waters over the last two years, Director-General, Patrick Akpobolokemi has disclosed. The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) has taken responsibility for the fire explosion that occurred at the refinery jetty of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) at Okrika, Rivers State, on Sunday morning.
