Barcelona manager, Xavi has come out to rant after his side’s Europa League quarter-final defeat vs Frankfurt on Thursday. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he doesn’t understand why there were too many Frankfurt fans in attendance at Camp Nou, and he hopes the club will look into the issue to avoid a repeat in future.
Arajuo added that he was shocked to see so many German fans in the stadium, and he hopes Barcelona will correct their mistakes.
His words, “I was expecting 70,000 or 80,000 cules here but it wasn’t like that,”
“The club is checking what happened.”
Arajuo added, “I’m surprised there are so many German fans in the stadium. The club will have to look at that.”
Laporta added, “We are worried about the fact that today a big shame happened which can’t happen again. We have a large part of the information at hand of what happened, we need to time to process this and we will take the appropriate measures but it’s shameful what happened.”
