Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State yesterday sent a letter to the State House of Assembly requesting for approval on the proposed N40billion loan from commercial banks to finance the completion of the ongoing cargo airport project located near Amassoma community in Southern Ijaw local government area of the state.
Dickson, in the letter, requested the ssembly’s approval for the state government to stand as a guarantor to enable Bayelsa Airlines to secure the loan.
He said the proposed project was designed for the largest cargo and commercial aircraft to land.
