After the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) delisted Timipre Sylva as a candidate for governorship on November 11, Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri made fun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governorship.
Sylva was running for the election on November 11.
According to Diri, Sylva was having restless nights, which will likely continue as a result of the action taken by INEC.

On Friday, he delivered a speech in the Igbedi community, which is located in the Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of the state.
The first modified INEC list was the basis for Diri’s insistence that Sylva should continue to be excluded.
He encouraged the citizens of Bayelsa State not to throw away their ballots by casting them for a party that was not on the ballot.
According to Diri, “Those whose names have been removed from the INEC voter list as a result of amendment number one can no longer sleep.”
They won’t be able to get any rest for the foreseeable future.
The other route that will be crucial to Bayelsa and even the people of Delta State and for the usage of our airport will be the one that connects Igbedi to Kaiama, and it will be completed during our second term in office.
That is going to be the next project that we take on when we move into our new position.
