German champions, Bayern Munich ridiculed Bundesliga title rivals Borussia Dortmund 5-0 on Saturday, netting four goals in the first half to wrestle back the number one spot and get back on track to seal record-extending seventh straight league crown.
Bayern netted two times in the opening 17 minutes via Mats Hummels and Robert Lewandowski, scoring two more from Javi Martinez and Serge Gnabry before the second half.
Lewa’s goal made him the 5th player in Bundesliga history to attain the 200-goal mark and the first player without a German nationality to do so.
Bayern, who fell to a disappointing draw at Freiburg last week, kept dazzling their opponent in the second half and Lewandowski scored again in the 89th minute to move Bayern to 64 points with six matches left, one point above Borussia Dortmund.
Robert Lewandowski scored his 21st goal of the season and 201st in the Bundesliga.
