Benzema Deserved The Ballon d’Or Award In 2022 – Messi

Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi has come out to express his thoughts on Karim Benzema winning the Ballon d’Or award in 2022. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he believes the French striker was a fair winner of the award a year ago because he clearly had a great year with Real Madrid.

Messi added that Benzema is a wonderful footballer who deserves such a recognition for his talent.

His words, “I think Benzema was a fair winner. He deserves it for the great year he had and what he has been doing throughout his career. He is a wonderful player and I think it is important for him and for soccer that he has this recognition.”
