Bruno Fernandes Doesn’t Fit Into Ruben Amorim’s Preferred System – Scholes

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has come out to say that the club would be foolish not to sell Al-Hilal-linked Bruno Fernandes this summer. This is coming amid reports linking Bruno to Saudi Arabia for £100 million, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Manchester United cannot say no to £100 million for the Portuguese international because he does not even think Bruno fits into Amorim‘s preferred system.

Scholes added that Fernandes almost confuses the entire system since he doesn’t have a position tailor-made for him, therefore, it is best to cash in on him.

His words, “They are talking about £100m for him. Man United cannot say no to that. You know when you talk about this system as well, I know he has been brilliant and carried the team on his back but where does he play? What is his position? Do you see him as a number 10? Do you see him as a holding midfielder? He almost confuses the whole system because he doesn’t have that one position for him. I mean he has been brilliant don’t get me wrong. But when you’re getting £100m for him you snap their hand off and take it.”
