Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has promised that the 2015 Budget which he tagged “Budget of Restoration” has been prepared with strategic underpinning of the six (6) Cardinal Programmes of this administration.
He stated this at the Ekiti State House of Assembly while presenting the Ekiti State 2015 Budget to Honorable ouse.
In his words, He reminded the good people of Ekiti State his inaugural promise that “Essentially, this government is a government of restoration. We shall continue with the people-oriented programmes which we started in 2003.”
Mr. Governor reviewed the 2014 budget and emphasized on the position of the State finances as at when he took over in October 16th 2014
Mr. Ayodele Fayose noted that the State has been committed financially up to year 2020, even beyond his own administration and pleaded for the understanding and support of Ekiti People.
He stressed further by giving an insight in to the 2015 Revenue Projections, Recurrent Expenditure, Capital Expenditure before highlighting the Key Capital Expenditure in line with the 6 cardinal programs.
Mr. Fayose concluded his speech by stating that the 2015 budget is a document that has articulated the policies and programmes of the government to achieve the collective aspirations of the good people of Ekiti State, Nigeria in the year 2015. “It is our resolve to faithfully implement the provisions as passed by this Assembly…” The Governor concluded.
