Upon Abdullahi Adamu’s resignation as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), veteran lawmaker Shehu Sani criticised Buhari’s camp.
According to Infostride News, former APC chairman Adamu submitted his resignation letter on Sunday evening.
As a result, APC Deputy National Chairman (North) Senator Abubakar Kyari is now in charge of party operations.
According to rumours, Adamu is a huge fan of the ex-president.
Before and after President Bola Tinubu emerged as the party’s candidate, Adamu was said to have actively lobbied against his success.
On Monday, when news of Adamu’s resignation was confirmed, Sani published a post on his verified Twitter profile in which he made a veiled statement criticising Buhari’s supporters in the APC.
He stated that the Buharists were “orphaned” since their party had “purged” them.
