President Muhammadu Buhari, in 2003, criticized former President, Olusegun Obasanjo for travelling too much.
The criticism was subtly delivered on a campaign poster which featured Buhari and then running mate, late Senator Chuba Okadigbo.
“What we’ll not do! Spend over 110 days in a year globetrotting,’ the poster read.
The promise seems to be a clear contrast from Buhari’s frequent travels as president.
The Buhari administration has however explained that the president’s trips are for Nigeria’s good.
