Indigenes of Zamfara have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to instantly put a stop to the killings and kidnappings presently sucking the life out of Zamfara State in Nigeria.
The indigenes, who held a protest in Abuja on Saturday, spoke against the insecurity and apprehension in the country.
The convener of the protest, Miss Fatimah Mustapha revealed that the protest was to let the government know about the harsh murders and several cases of kidnapping in Zamfara state.
She alleged that Zamfara State government were doing absolutely nothing to arrest the situation.
Mrs Kaderia Ahmed, a journalist also said, “We have the challenge of security situation all over the country, but that of Zamfara is clearly bad. We are tired of mass burial and that is why we are calling on PMB to intervene.
Nobody is talking of these killings now among our leaders, and this is apparently disgusting. This issue involves lives and people deserve to be safe whereever they live in this country.”
