Pioneer chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, Engr. Charles Dorgu, Thursday, declared that President Muhammadu Buhari is too decent to rig the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Dorgu, who stated this in an interview with journalists in Yenagoa, the state capital, therefore, urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) not to drag the president’s name into the plot to rig the forthcoming polls in the state.
He said though Buhari and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC have the political right to go to Bayelsa and assist in the campaigns ahead of the election, the clamour in certain quarters for the use of federal might against the PDP will backfire as it will only promote anarchy and confusion.
