Adeola Olamilekan has urged state governors in South West to reject Federal Government’s planned cattle colony in the region.
The federal government has proposed to establish cattle colonies across various states in the country as way of ending the reoccurring farmers/herdsmen clash.
He said “The controversial cattle colony being considered by the federal government as a solution the herdsmen/farmers clashes should not be considered by any state governments from all Yoruba and as its far reaching socio-economic and political effects promises to destroy the socio-cultural way of life of Yoruba,” he declared.
Chief Olu Falae has advised the Federal Government to perish the thoughts of establishing cattle colonies in any part of Yorubaland.
