TORONTO, ON–(Marketwired – Jun 17, 2015) – CentriLogic, a global provider of managed hosting, cloud computing, co-location and advanced IT outsourcing solutions, today announced that the company’s co-location and managed services have been validated as compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) version 3.0.
PCI DSS 3.0 consists of stringent requirements designed to ensure that all companies who process, store, or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. By June 30, 2015, requirements under the standard become mandatory for all organizations that accept and process cardholder data. For these organizations, appropriate security measures must be in place in order to prevent, detect and react to any potential security vulnerabilities under PCI DSS 3.0 standards.
CentriLogic provides secure physical hosting, virtualization and backup infrastructure to store encrypted cardholder data on behalf of its global customer base. The cardholder data environment, segmented by a firewall, includes physical and virtualized servers, a separate backup system, security authentication and centralized logging and monitoring. CentriLogic manages the configuration of the full solution, including the hosting of payment-processing applications, the backup and storage of the encrypted data and retention of the encrypted data.
“For consumer-facing businesses, protection of personally-identifiable financial data is one of the top business priorities today and one which we take very seriously in our data centers and overall operations,” says Robert Offley, CEO of CentriLogic. “Achieving the PCI DSS 3.0 certification affirms that our infrastructure is capable of securing the most sensitive assets of customers and their end users.”
CentriLogic’s services were audited by A-lign, a full service security, assurance, and compliance solutions firm.
