Nollywood actor Chike Bryan Nnamani, who had received 10 million naira from Goodluck Jonathan to undergo a kidney transplant in 2013, has passed away.
His death was announced by his friend and colleague, Mac Collins Chidebe, who wrote, “A guy I have worked so closely with in almost 10 months. Suddenly he disappears from my life. Death, O death, why?
Bryan who woke up healthy, was rushed to the hospital after he suffered an unexpected stroke.
He was admitted in a hospital which later referred to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja.
However, the hospital could not admit him for lack of bed space. According to Chidebe, the late actor was alive for five hours after he was rushed to LASUTH before he passed away.
Chike Bryan is survived by a wife and five kids. He was popular for his role in movies such as “Magic Cap,” “Polygamy” among others.
The late actor was also the former President of Scriptwriters Guild of Nigeria.
