IT partner of choice gains top three European ranking in IT outsourcing satisfaction survey
LONDON, UK, 31 March, 2016 – Computacenter, Europe’s preferred IT provider to enable users and their businesses, today announces that it has been awarded third place in Whitelane’s European IT outsourcing survey, outperforming the likes of Fujitsu, Capgemini and Atos. The company achieved a satisfaction score of 77 per cent overall in the service provider survey, which builds on 2015’s second place in the UK alone.
The study evaluates more than 4,480 unique IT outsourcing contracts held by over 1,500 of the top IT spending organisations in Europe. From the respondents surveyed Computacenter scored 6 per cent higher than the industry average when considering general satisfaction.
It was found that 94 per cent of Computacenter’s customers would likely renew their contract, ranking the business highest in end user services satisfaction in comparison to its other European competitors. This confirms Computacenter as the market leader in this specialism. Coupled together with 77 per cent of customers claiming to be satisfied with end-user services, Computacenter continues to build on its international market position, surpassing 2015’s 1st place UK ranking for satisfaction. Computacenter also ranked second in data centre and application hosting satisfaction, with a ranking of 79 per cent, which provided a 4 per cent increase in comparison to last year’s standings. This also meant that Computacenter was ranked 9 per cent higher than the industry average and only one of six that scored 70 per cent or above.
Simon Oecken, Group Managed Services Director comments, “This is a fantastic step forward in our market position and we are delighted to see the rewards of our hard work and distinct focus on customer satisfaction.”
When considering contract size and satisfaction rate, Computacenter was ranked in the top three, for contracts less than €5 million as well as more than €5 million. When considering contracts in the lower half of financial size, Computacenter scored 5 per cent higher than the industry average with 79 per cent, ranking them joint second.
Oecken concludes, “At Computacenter we are focused on delivering long-term customer value and helping businesses deploy the solutions that enable their users to do the best job possible. We will continue to build on this position in 2016 and look to exceed the competition where possible.”
