    Coronavirus in Nigeria: 160 New Cases confirmed, 1011 Deaths and 53,477 Total Cases as of 28th August 2020

    One Hundred and Sixty (160) new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were confirmed and reported in Nigeria within the last 24 hours. This was contained in the COVID-19 update provided by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

    The new cases reported are as follows:

    Plateau: 44
    Lagos: 27
    Katsina: 18
    Edo: 15
    FCT Abuja: 14
    Ondo: 10
    Oyo: 9
    Kwara: 6
    Abia: 4
    Nasarawa: 4
    Kano: 3
    Ekiti: 2
    Kaduna: 2
    Kebbi: 1
    Ogun: 1

    Currently, there are 53,477 confirmed cases in Nigeria with 1011 deaths. However, 41,017 people have so far recovered and been discharged.
