
The last four teams in this year (2013) COSAFA U-20 Championship currently underway in Lesotho are known after the final round of group matches took place on Tuesday 10th December. South Africa topped Group C after a 0-0 draw with Namibia.
Kenya who topped Group A now face Group B winners Angola in the first semi while neighbours Zimbabwe and South Africa will clash in the other semi. Both matches will be played on Thursday 12 December in Maseru.
Outgoing champions Zambia finished with a flourishing beating Seychelles 4-0 .t Spencer Sautu broke the deadlock for Zambia on 52 minutes. Danny Madelene’s own goal to make it 2-0 before Ackim Mumba scored the third on 67 minutes and then Langson Mbewe scored the fourth.
Zambia who won the last three editions of the COSAFA Under-20 Youth Championships leave the competition looking for a new winner.
