COVID-19 in Nigeria: 131 New Cases, 56,735 Total Cases and 1093 Total Deaths as of 17th September 2020

One hundred and thirty-one (131) new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were confirmed and reported in Nigeria within the last 24 hours. This was contained in the COVID-19 update provided by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The new cases reported are as follows:

Kaduna: 17
Plateau: 17
FCT Abuja: 16
Delta: 6
Niger: 6
Kwara: 5
Oyo: 3
Akwa Ibom: 2
Cross River: 2
Ekiti: 2
Enugu: 2
Osun: 2
Sokoto: 2
Bauchi: 1
Ebonyi: 1
Katsina: 1
Rivers: 1

Currently, there are 56,735 confirmed cases in Nigeria with 1093 deaths. However, 48,092 people have so far recovered and been discharged.
