COVID-19 in Nigeria: 136 New Cases, 58,460 Total Cases and 1111 Total Deaths as of 28th September 2020

One hundred and thirty-six (136) new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were confirmed and reported in Nigeria within the last 24 hours. This was contained in the COVID-19 update provided by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The new cases reported are as follows:

Lagos: 71
Rivers: 23
Plateau: 12
Adamawa: 6
Oyo: 6
Kaduna: 5
Abia: 3
FCT Abuja: 3
Katsina: 2
Kwara: 2
Bauchi: 1
Borno: 1
Edo: 1

Currently, there are 58,460 confirmed cases in Nigeria with 1111 deaths. However, 49,895 people have so far recovered and been discharged.
